Anxiety Body Map Poster, Tweens 9-12 | Fight Flight Freeze Calm Down Printable, PhD Made

$5.97

Finally, a calm-down poster that isn’t babyish. Pip’s Alarm System is an anxiety body-map poster for tweens (9-12) that teaches the one thing most “calm corner” and coping-skills printables skip: how to *recognize* anxiety in your own body before trying to calm it.

Your body has a built-in alarm — the fight-flight-freeze response — that keeps you safe. But sometimes it fires for “burnt toast, not a real fire.” This printable shows a tween how to read that alarm and turn the volume down:

  • Color your body map — mark where YOU feel the early warning signs (racing heart, fast breath, tight tummy, hot face, shaky hands, foggy head). Everyone’s anxiety alarm is a little different.
  • True alarm or false alarm? — a simple CBT check: is there real danger, or is my body over-reacting? (The step every generic calm-down corner poster leaves out.)
  • Turn the volume down — circle a go-to from six reset moves: slow breathing, feet on the floor, name the signal, cool down, move it, or count the breath.

What’s inside (6 pages): the main hangable anxiety poster · a For Grown-Ups how-to (run it in the moment, in about 5 minutes) · a reset-moves guide · a pocket cut-out reminder card · a print & size guide (A4 vs US Letter) · a parent note.

Perfect for the calm-down corner at home, the school counselor office, or a classroom peace spot. Body science, not a feelings chart — warm, calm, and made to respect an older kid without cartoon babytalk. Prints clean on A4 and US Letter. PhD Made.

Built on published CBT research.
