This page explains what Kite & Koala collects when you use this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

Kite & Koala publishes parenting guides and printable activity packs for children aged 5-12. Our website address is https://kiteandkoala.com. You can reach us at kiteandkoala@gmail.com.

What we collect

1. The free printable form. If you request the weekly free printable, we store the email address you type, which printable you asked for, whether you ticked the newsletter box, your IP address, and the date. This is kept in our own website database. We do not pass it to a third-party email service, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

2. Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits, to see which pages are opened and how long people stay, and to know roughly where visitors came from. It is not used to identify you personally, and we do not build advertising profiles. Visits from logged-in site administrators are excluded.

3. Cookies. A consent banner asks before any non-essential cookie is set. You can decline, and the site still works.

What we do NOT collect

  • No payment details. Purchases happen on Etsy, not here. We never see your card, and Etsy’s own privacy policy covers that transaction.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to register for.
  • No comments. Comments are switched off site-wide.
  • No data about your child. We never ask for a child’s name, age, school, diagnosis or anything else about them. The worksheets are filled in on paper, at home, and nothing written on them reaches us.

Children

This site is written for parents and other adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete it.

Who else sees your data

Only two categories of company: our website host, which stores the site and its database, and Google, which processes the analytics described above. Nobody else. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Email addresses stay until you ask us to remove them. Analytics data follows Google’s own retention schedule. If you want your email deleted, write to us and it goes — no forms, no questions.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email kiteandkoala@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. This version replaces anything published earlier.
