What this site is
Kite & Koala publishes free parenting articles and sells printable activity packs for children aged 5-12. The printables are digital PDF files. Everything here is educational material for families to use at home.

This is the most important thing on this page. The articles and printables are educational tools. They are not therapy, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. They are built on published cognitive behavioural research, but no article can assess your child.
If your child’s distress is intense, lasts for weeks, is getting worse, or is stopping them doing ordinary things like school, sleep or seeing friends, speak to your paediatrician or a licensed mental health professional where you live.
If a child is in immediate danger or talking about harming themselves, contact your local emergency number or nearest emergency department now. Do not wait, and do not rely on anything on this site.
Buying the printables
Purchases are made through our Etsy shop, not on this website. The sale, payment, delivery and refund of any printable are governed by Etsy’s terms and by the policies shown on each listing. Any order problem is handled through Etsy messages.
Because the files are digital and delivered instantly, they are generally not returnable once downloaded. Check the listing before buying. If a file is faulty or does not match its description, contact us and we will put it right.
What you may do with a printable
- Print it as many times as you like for your own family, your own classroom, or the children you personally work with.
- Use it in a counselling or teaching session you run yourself.
What you may not do: resell it, share the file publicly, upload it to a file-sharing or resource-sharing site, or pass it on as your own work. The files stay our copyright.
The free printable
One printable is offered free each week, the same one for everyone. You give us an email address, we send the file. You can ask to be removed at any time and that ends it — the free printable is not a subscription and there is nothing to cancel.
Accuracy
We write carefully and cite published research, but we cannot promise that every suggestion suits every child. Use your judgement as the adult who knows them. We are not liable for outcomes from using the material — it is guidance, not a guarantee.
